My name is Tracy Huxtable and I live on a farm in North Devon, England with my husband.
I have farmed for more than 25 years, during which time I have gained experience with dairy cows and 1000 breeding ewes. I currently keep 150/200 sheep for training purposes.
I bought my first working kelpie in 1999. In 2002 I imported my first working kelpie from Australia in pup and I kept a dog and bitch pup. Since then I have imported a further nine working kelpies from Australia, my last one in 2018.
I have also exported pups worldwide to Israel, Brazil, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Holland, Sweden and Finland. Also nationally to Jersey, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Ireland and different parts of the UK and Scotland.
My aim is to breed high calibre Working Kelpies for herding work, and although I have Devonairs Kelpies excelling in the sporting dog world, my focus is on breeding for stock work.
