Devonairs Mac. (Devonairs Razor x Boanong Echo)
Hi Tracy
Mac is doing very well, very strong, very keen but easy to handle, he's not keen on backing yet but I think it will come. Really pleased with him.
Steve
Devonairs Sid. Devonairs Bailey x Barru Quest.
Hi Tracy
He is an absolute star. I can't fault him, hard working, clever, quick learner. He has a strong eye and is very good at field work. I haven't done a lot of yard work with him but he backs well and is totally trustworthy when working. I haven't managed to get him to speak in the yards but in a funny way he has so much power that he hasn't really needed to! I am happy to talk to anyone about how good he is and will try and do some video's. I would have another puppy but Sid is so good I don't need another for a while, ur a victim of your own success !!

Devonairs Bolt (Devonairs Bean x Karana Lucy lll)
Hi Tracy
Very pleased with Bolt, he's very sharp, very biddable and showing loads of potential.

Devonairs Zella (Devonairs Tarot x Devonairs Delta Force)
Zella is working sheep through yards, unloading trailers, her sides are coming on, speaking on command when she remembers
with a good steady. I had a stop and a wait/stay from a very young pup going onto sheep but recently it seems to have disappeared,
it would be good if she found them again. She often backs sheep but I am yet to get a command on it.

Devonairs Gem ll (Devonairs Bean x Karana Lucy lll)
Hi Tracy
Quick update on Gem 6 months old and working sheep indoors, she has the heart of a lion, never
wants to stop, probably a bit to noisy but that's just excitement and even managed to impress my
shearing gang which takes some doing!

Devonairs Belle (Devonairs Razor x Boanong Echo)
Hi Tracy
Devonairs Tinker Belle (Razor x Echo) 18 months old coming on very well in particular in the field.
Very easy to work and has lots of natural ability.
Works to pens quietly and calmly
Peter.
Devonairs Jess (Devonairs Ace x Devonairs Buffy) gets a mention in the ISDS magazine.
Although not a member of the ISDS I like to have a good dog and can only get a good dog
by using registered parents.
Shepherd Dominic Creed's two older collies are very laid back, unlike his kelpie who has boundless energy. Dom is another
shepherd I spoke to. He has a small farm not far from the other three but the home farm is on the southern lower slopes of Mendip
where he keeps Suffolks and Suffolk cross - these would be ' poor doers' on the Mendip plateau.
Dom's kelpie, Jess, is fast on her feet and although not completely trained has got both her sides and is very responsive.
She is not as hard as the collies but has a bigger presence - Meg definitely and Kim a bit, will go in on the attack if he wants them to. But
Jess doesn't need to because of that command over the sheep that she has. Having the bark on her is helpful when needed. It is not 100%
on command as yet but she is still young. Sometimes Dom has got to wind her up a bit to get a bark out of her.
Dom Creed.
Devonairs Blaze (Devonairs Razor x Boanong Echo)
Just thought I would let you know how Blaze is going. We have been running the farm since March as well some contract jobs. Blaze has had plenty to do and every day just gets better.
She is gathering the marshes which takes a hell of a lot of thinking for themselves and push (her love of swimming helps) she casts lovely left and right and can spot sheep or hunt them out at distance, she drives mobs very well and in our yards or shearing sheds she excelled.
She worked 8 pet sheep (don't ask, hazards of contracting) then this afternoon gathered, penned and raced 163 wild tegs of ours.
Really pleased with her is an understatement!
Update on Blaze.
Can't find any faults with Blaze, she has been my no1 lambing dog this year. This morning she's been catching ewes and lambs
in the field, loading the trailer, and every other lambing job you can think of.
So natural and thinks for herself. Amazing dog.

Devonairs Hugo (Devonairs Dexter x Barru Quest)
Hugo is 9 months old now and quite confident with cows and sheep but can be sensitive in new grounds and voices.
Pasi from Finland
Devonairs Rip, Bean, Tarot, Psykhe & Diesel
I bought my first kelpie in 2005 which has proved to be one of the best decisions I've made, I now couldn't imagine life without a kelpie!
I'm now the proud owner of 5 - all from Tracy - who in my opinion breeds dogs that are true to type with great temperaments, work ethic and conformation. All mine love to work at whatever job is asked of them and despite minimal access to stock have all proven their herding ability when it comes to sheep work.
I compete in dry land sled dog events and run the first full kelpie rig team - finishing our first season unbeaten and crowned National Champions and World Cup qualifiers, showing their true versitility as a breed.

Devonairs Gem (Devonairs Dexter x Barru Quest)
I am very pleased with the way in which my dog Gem is coming on in work, she also has a very kind temperament as well as being a loyal dog.
She is 8 months old and knows come by, away ,lay down and stay. Gem is developing a good outrun and can bring and hold sheep to me without any commands, she is able to work a flock of 200 by herself. I have also started doing yard work with her.
